Description:
1847 Rogers Brothers Crown Sugar Shell Spoon. The handle has a crown—shaped end, three small flowers with draping leaves and two small flowers hanging from the leaves. Halfway down the handle is a band with two Dimond and triangular shapes on each side of the band. Where the handle joins the spoon's bowl are five tassels, as well as flowers and leaves. The back of the handle has the same crown—shape, the same center band and five tassels. The bowl of the spoon is shaped like a shell on both the front and the back. The back of the handle is stamped:"1847 Rogers Bros. A1, Maker's Mark (round)".
