Description:
R. Blackinton & Co Enameled Iced—tea spoon. A feather and floral design around the edge third of the handle and is filled in with a enameled floral design. The enamels primary colors are white and blue. The back of the handle is plain and engraved:" April 1836" Stamped on the handle next to the bowl is marked:" Sterling (Maker's Mark, a letter B with a sword through the B). The bowl of the spoon is gilt.
