Wreath of Roses design. Made by Katherine DeLamater Robinson around 1875.
Hand appliqued and hand quilted, machine was also used. 4 large squares, approximately 27 1/2". All 4 vary an inch. Muslin background, muslin backing. Muslin lattice. Backing is turned to the front and hand stiched for finishing. There are 2 borders along top and one side. 12" wide. Quilting pattern is outline and 4" circles. Cotton batting, medium loft and lumpy from launduring.
Muslin sleeve has been added for hanging.
