Description Baker County Board of Comissioners Court Record dated October 30th, 1862. Boundaries for Burnt River Precinct(5th Precinct) laid out. For Auburn Precinct Sidney Abell appointed Justice of the Peace, CP Smith appointed Constable. Baker County: George W. Hall appointed Sheriff, Mr Brown appointed Surveyor, James N. Hisker appointed Assessor, William H Packwood appointed School Superintendent. SA Clarke, Clerk and William Waldo, Deputy Clerk. Present at the meeting were: John Q Wilson, Judge; Fell Spears and M Manahan, Comissioners. Mr Hany applied for license to construct a ferry on Snake River at Fort Boise.
