Articles of incorporation for Tykles Pass Road and Ferry Company, John Brattain, George A. Tykles, John Brownlee incorporated on October 19, 1862, to construct a clay road from Pyles Ranch to Brownee Ferry on Snake River, and a point known as Tylle's pass, and to collect toll on aid road and ferry as the law permits.
