Box with lid; tan cardboard; stamped in black ink on one end of box, "Canvas Footwear, Hood, Mens Smokrepe Athletic Lace—To—Toe, Brown"; ink from stamp bled through to inside of box; handwritten in pencil on same end of box, "C2X 2.50"; pencil marks criss—cross over stamped information; purchased by Dick Haynes in 1975 with large lot of items in basement of Palmer Store at 1801 Main Street. John & LaVelle Palmer lived at 1504 4th St. in Baker City and both died in 1975. Their son, who lived in France, came to sell the contents of the store.
