Guard, skate; ankle support for ice or roller skate; steel brace can be clamped to shoe or boot; leather ankle support wraps around ankle and clasps with metal buckle; purchased by Dick Haynes in 1975 with large lot of items in basement of Palmer Store at 1801 Main Street. John & LaVelle Palmer lived at 1504 4th St. in Baker City and both died in 1975. Their son, who lived in France, came to sell the contents of the store.
