Description:
Hand sewn mantle runner with delicate stitching. Burgandy red wool makes up the largest portion of the top and pink silk backs the runner. There are 15 tassels constructed with wool yarn wrapped over wood cones and tied together with silk thread in alternating colors of burgandy and pea—green. The tassels are attached to the bottom edge of the runner, which is cut into the shape of triangles. At the top is a velvet gray strip with green and brown looped wool embroidered vines complemented by gray and creamy beage velvet flowers with green felt leaves detailed with elaborate stiching.
