Shoe, athletic; left foot; 6 1/2 E stamped in gold on inside of shoe; black leather upper; brown leather sole with 7 metal spikes on ball of shoe; black lace; 7 pair of metal eyelets; label on tongue reads, "6 1/2 E, 112S, A. G. Spalding & Bros, Est. A. D. 1876, Spalding Trade Mark, Reg. US Pat. Off."; purchased by Dick Haynes in 1975 with large lot of items in basement of Palmer Store at 1801 Main Street. John & LaVelle Palmer lived at 1504 4th St. in Baker City and both died in 1975. Their son, who lived in France, came to sell the contents of the store.
