Description:
Light green fabric bound book with red embossed image of a boy on a raft; lettering reads:"American, Boy's Series". This is the fifth book in a six book series. The spine has an image of a river running through trees with gold lettering: " Hope And Have, Oliver Optic" and red lettering:" Lee And Shepard". The book's title page begins with an illustration. The back cover is plain green. The title page reads: "Woodville Stories. Hope And Have, or, Fanny Grant Among The Indiana, A Story For Young People, By Oliver Optic, Boston, Lee and Shepard Pub., 10 Milk Street" Copyright 1866, William T. Adams 1894. There is a scrap of illegibly newsprint marks page 66 & 67.
