Description:
Lewis & Clark Expo Souvenir Spoon. The handle of the spoon starting at the tip has the head of Lewis & Clark side by side, The words (Lewis & Clark are to the left and right of the heads respectively), below is a bunch of grapes and a grape leaf, a miner holding a pick and a shovel. The lower half of the handle is the shape of a salmon with the words:"Portland, Ore" across the salmon's body lengthwise on the front. The back of the handle at the tip is MT. Hood and curved over the top of the mountain are the words: "MT. Hood 11,932 tabard." Below that is a ship with waves and the word:" Oregon". The lower half is the salmon, with the words:" Columbia River Salmon" running lengthwise and "Sterling" across the tale. The bowl of the spoon's inside is engraved: "Forestry Building" an image of the building, and underneath are the words: "Lewis & Clark Exposition, Portland Oregon". The back of the bowl is smooth.
