A—shaped wooden secretary with two legs, each having four feet carved like cat paws with five toes and claws. The two legs are made—up of opposing locking cupboard that open outward inside each is a moveable shelf. The top section of the secretary, over each leg are two drawers that have a decorative filagree in the bottom corners. The drawer pulls do not look original and each is similar, but different. The pull down section as well as the two drawers slant up at an angle. Inside, when the front is pulled down to a desk, a framework of cubbies and a drawer is visible. The right drawer has a pencil mark on the underside that reads: "226"
