Large burgundy fabric bound book with leather corners and binding. The spine has leather embossment of a shield and leaves as well as gold lettering: "The World's Best Music, Instrumental, Volume (in leather) I, The University Society." Back cover is plain like the front. The book's paper edging has been speckled with red ink. The book has a color illustration adjacent to the title page.
