The back has the same embossment without the gold. The pages have gold edging and a blue ribbon bookmark, marking page 259. The title page has the title and reads: "Edited by, William Stanley Braithwaite, Boston, Small Maynard and Company, Publishers. Copyright 1918 by S.M & Co. 2nd printing Feb. 1919 — The University Press. Cambridge U.S.A." A name card was found on page 171.
