Description:
Gold colored brass, four legged side table and gas or oil lamp. There are three significant sections the first of which is the legs that are constructed of ornate scrolls ending on flat protectors. The legs loop over and connect to another looping scroll that holds up the first table base, continue in the like fashion up to the second or top most table. The base is a square with a removable diamond shaped inset that has an open design of cherubs and flourishes. In the center of this diamond is a capped pole that penetrable through the both the bottom and the upper or first base, finally ending in the lamp's fuel container base and classic glass shade. The original matching metal diamond is missing from the top most table and has been replaced with a diamond shaped slab of marble. The lamp's fuel container has a screw cap for filling and has a wool outer with a gas escape that reads: This End Up, Patent Applied For . The table and lamp look retrofitted from a variety of materials. The top section pulls up and may be adjustable.
