Description:
School Program consisting of two sheets of paper folded in half horizontally and bound with two staples. The front cover has an American Flag in red and blue ink on cream paper and reads: "Official Program for Frances E. Willard Day, Oct. 26th 1917, Prepared by J.A. Churchill, Superintendent of Public Instruction". Program consists of a Biography of Mrs. Elizabeth Willard, a Flag Salute, Short Talk, Eulogy (given by students) to included a guide for teacher to perform program of the effects of alcohol and narcotics on the human system; effect ideas numbered 1—27, essays 1—10 (written by pupils), prohibition topics in Oregon, Song (Star Spangled Banner).
