Brown cloth bound book with an elaborate textured boarder, embossed gold lettering and red edges on pages. The inside cover is decorated with a blue flowered paper with gold printed over the top. The front cover reads: "Union Prayer Book" , as well as the spine but followed with two gold stars. Title page reads: "for Jewish Worship, Part I, pub. Central Conference of American Rabbis, Cincinnati 1895, press of Toby Rubavits, Chicago." The text is in Hebrew script as well as English. A plain scrap of paper was found on page 125.
