Bodice piece of one of Celia Hanks' dresses. Piece is matted and framed. 14 5/8" X 18 5/8". Description of bodice piece: White lace, oval shaped. Decorated with gold and silver thread, small white earls, clear bugle beads, tiny clear beads, and green and crystal mounted gem stones. The pearls and clear beads make flower designs in center. The gold thread and bugle beads make the leaves. The bodice is mounted on black velvet with an oval—shaped tan—colored velvet mat. The black shadow—box wooden frame is glass covered.
