Ornate open carved oak painted wood frame. The center edge has wooden buttons, which have been gilded with gold paint. The outer edge is ornate designed with plaster or wood composite followed by two more moldings; one with flour de lis and the other the golden buttons, which is the smaller of the two strips. The frame has a glass front and a wood backing, two eye—hooks and hanging wire, as well as an attached matboard over painted wood.
