The handle of the spoon has a flowers and leaves halfway toward the bowl and small beads getting smaller toward the bowl on the front. The back of the handle is stamped: "C.B & h, Sterling". The bowl of the spoon's inside is engraved:" Baker City, Ore". The back of the bowl is smooth.
