Description:
Baker City historic photo poster created by Benjamin Franklin Savings and Loan 1979. Photo includes Baker City 1871. Ison house, as it looks in 1979. Luther B. Ison, who built the house, 1841—1889. Parker's Photography Studio when Main Street was a dirt street, ca. 1890. The businesses on the upper left were located at the corner of Main and Valley, ca. 1875. Includes also the Warshauer Hotel (the Geiser Grand) before it was sold, with advertising for rates for rooms from $1.50 up, and free rides to the train and stage, etc. Manager of the Warshauer was George P. Reynolds, and the proprietor was W. Levens.

This group of historic collages came from the Helen and John Rodgers estate, and were donated by Karen Meredith, Salt Lake City, UT.
