Description
"Leo and Saford Adler, 1897. Dollar Bill Ellis' transfer teams were seen delivering several tons of ice to the ice house behind the Adler home on Main Street yesterday. The ice, from Powder River, is reputed to be of excellent quality this year since the shrp and prolonged February cold spell has been one of the best of memory for its production. North Powder ice cutting for the Union Pacific railroad is reputed to be in full swing also."
