James Gavin, called "49 Jimmie", one of the first placer miners in the Green Horn District. Gavin arrived at Robinsonville in 1868, and remained the rest of his life. The Bonanza Mine was about four miles away from this town near Greehorn. Jimmie became a legend in the area |
