Postcard of the Sumpter Dredge. Back says "Located 28 miles from Baker, Oregon, in the old mining town of Sumpter. This Dredge operated from 1935 to 1954 and recovered over 4.5 million in Gold. It is 52' x 120' and weighs over 1250 tons. |
