Description In a letter of 12 April 2011, Richard Smurtwaite writes:
I enclose the following four items:
1. a 2-page typewritten "life of William Givens of Richland. My mother's spelling of some words was unique (also stored in EagleValley011)
2. Twenty pages of notes, handwritten by Joseph A. Wright from conversations with William Thompson of Sparta.
3. printed program of 1916 of "Old Pioneer Miners' Reunion" in Sparta
4. printed program of a 20 March 1928 program of the MacDowell Club. Among others, it featured the high school Glee Club and Orchestra. Also my childhood piano teacher, Ava Steiger.

Items 1 and 2 are included in this record. Item 3 follows as Sparta 013.
Item 4 is stored in Organizations 063, since it is a Baker City group, the MacDowell Club.
