Description Grand jury notes from 1867. Cases involve: State of Oregon vs. "China George" (apparent dispute over gold ownership), "Cinaman" (involved 2 men injured and 1 man killed), "Reynolds" (apparent property dispute), "Fred Dill" (apparent dispute over gold price), "Perkins" (a Chinaman was shot 2 or 3 hundred yards from his house), "Henry Wendt" (selling liquor on Sunday), "Barnes & Abel" (selling liquor on Sunday), "Wm. H. Pope" (selling liquor without a license), "Joseph Oliver" (selling liquor on Sunday). John M. Swift was grand jury foreman and signed the bills. No date of recording.
