Thomas Cook, plaintiff vs. S. K. Myers, Rufus Dillard, and Wm. H. Packwood. Luther B. Ison, clerk of Baker County. Issue: a debt of $1466.20 in gold coin. Packwood says the judgment rendered needs to enforce contribution and repayment from S. K. Myers for the sum of $733.10, for his unpaid stock in the Burnt River Ditch and Mining Company as owed to Thomas Cook. Document contains the testimony of the named individuals, the list of court costs, the summons for trial, and judgment that the group will have to sell 150 shares of Burnt River Ditch and Mining Company to pay off the debt, in the sum of $1307.38 in gold coin and interest, plus the costs and disbursement of the suit. September 12, 1870. |
