Description G. V. Close, and Thomas Ashdown, P. Waits, D. R. Foot, and John A. Stemple, claim in Eagle District, on Last Chance Gulch, one of the branches of Eagle Creek. Located in the Eagle Mountains near Snake River. Recorded as Lone Star Quartz Lode, June 23, 1863, S. A. Clarke, clerk. Also written on the back are Leopold, Miller, Black (S. M.), and Ladd (John).
