Description 
JL Ruckel claims 1000" of water in the Powder River 3/4 mile above Baker City at the head of the canyon in the south bank of said river by means of a canal and dam construction in 1864 at a cost $8000. Water goes to Powder River Quartz Mill, Baker District to drive machinery and other equipment of Mill. July 1st, 1868. Filed by JH Shinn, July 10th, 1868.
