Description State of Oregon vs William Howard. Testimony of William J Howard, Defendant. Re: incident on January 8th, 1866. Howard states that Dealy was the agressor swearing and threatening Howard with a hand spike. Incident occured in a hay field. Howard said he only threatened to use an axe if Dealy advanced any further. (see also Auburn 352) Filed February 5th, 1866 by C. Grant, Justice of the Peace.
