Description 
State of Oregon vs William Howard. Testimony of William J Howard, Defendant. Re: incident on January 8th, 1866. Howard states that Dealy was the agressor swearing and threatening Howard with a hand spike. Incident occured in a hay field. Howard said he only threatened to use an axe if Dealy advanced any further. Page 3 is the diary of C Grant, Justice of the Peace showing Court costs and noting that charges against Howard were dismissed. See also Auburn 355 for last page of transcript.
