Description Coroners Inquest at Benington Ranch, Powder River Valley July 30th, 1864, on the bodies of Major Bly and Sylvanis Jeffries lying dead. James H King, Coroner, appointed by Rubin Riggs Esq. Mr Vanbbber heard shots the morning of July 29th, 1864. On July 29th at 11AM William Smith told JH King he had shot 2 men. Filed August 1st, 1864 by CM Foster, Clerk
