Description 
Mining claim, Willitts Quartz District, south of Powder River, seven quartz claim on Eclipse Quartz Lead, supposed to be silver ore of 1/4 of 1 mile each, following all the dips and angles of said supposed silver lode, running from a certain starting point at or near a certain prospect hole made on said lode about the fourth day of August, 1863, by messrs Carter, Willitt, and Winner, said claims to run in an easterly direction from said starting point (4 claims) 1 mile, and from said starting point (3 claims) 3/4 mile in a westerly direction, being 1 3/4 miles of said lode, following all the dips and angles of the same, taken in compliance with the statutes of the state of Oregon, Aug. 4, 1863, renewed Aug. 18, 1863.
