"We the undersigned do claim nine hundred feet on the first extension southward on the Blue Lead, Gold and Silver Quartz Lode with all its dips, spurs and angles, for gold and silver mining purposes situated on Emigrant Gulch on the west side of Salmon Creek, Baker county, State of Oregon.
